Kathleen Duborg

Kathy is a director, actor, producer and educator. She has melded careers in theatre and film, developing her curiosities and questions as an actor, into directing and producing and now as a teacher. She shares her experience and knowledge in the detailed creation an actor undergoes as they inhabit and move through the life of their characters-making the experience immediate, intimate and exhilarating. 

Recent film performances; Nancy Drew, The Good Doctor, Riverdale and theatrical direction includes Mere Mortals and Others, Jerusalem, Concord Floral and The Beauty Queen of Leenane. She is an adjunct professor of acting at the University of British Columbia, acting instructor at the Vancouver Film School and Douglas College. She delights in coaching and mentoring, serves on several artistic boards and is co-artistic director of Dirt Road Theatre.
