This is a class for dedicated actors to expand and deepen their process. Let's dig under the 'hunch'. Let's see if we can make that character live as richly as you did today. Let the unusual and surprising breed connection to the human evolving in your work. The class will be a mix of prepared work from film and theatre scripts for scenes, auditions, monologues, plus exercises specifically curated for the class ensemble and directed towards the lens. We will use the camera as a participant in the learning. Our intention is to create a supportive environment for deep and superlative work. This class is rigorous - there will be homework and partner work outside of studio hours.

The core philosophy of excellence and clarity in film and television work -the texts change each session to reflect the up to the minute requests of the industry.

The Casting Place, 33 East 7th Ave, Vancouver BC

COST:
$500 + GST
Payment Options: Credit Card (fee applicable) or E-Transfer.

PRE-REQUISITES:
- Returning actors of McIlroy & Associates, experienced industry performers or management/agency recommendation.
- Actors with a demonstrated interest in film and television performance .We welcome graduates from accredited institutions.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance of the class start date will receive a 100% refund of the session fee.
Cancellations made within a week to the class start date will incur a $100 cancellation fee.
No refunds will be given once the class session has started.
MISSED CLASSES
We have a policy that classes are non-transferable and we have an expectation that it is the actor's responsibility to attend all classes for which they have registered. Any accommodation of a student's schedule is at the discretion of the instructor.
